Transport Information

Musgroves has 3 options available to customers:

  1. Pickup
  2. Arrange your own transport
  3. Price for delivery in Christchurch within 30kms from our Wigram Christchurch location (excludes cobbles, pavers, timber and iron).
    Regretfully Musgroves is unable to deliver outside of Christchurch.  If you are located outside of our 30km delivery radius, we suggest you contact your local carrier for pickup and delivery options.

Pick up

Our preferred method is for you to come to the yard and pick up your goods. Our opening hours are as follows:

Monday – Friday 8am -5pm
Saturday 8am-4pm
Sunday and Public Holidays closed.

We also have courtesy trailers available for you to relocate your items. Bookings are not always necessary but are recommended to make sure we have one available at the time you need it. To contact us about trailer availability please call us on 03 322 7922

Important notes regarding pickup:

  • All goods must be picked up within 1 week of being purchased when payment has been received by credit card or bank deposit.
  • If you are paying on pick up then you must collect and pay for your item in store within 3 business days.
  • Please call us to advise if you have may have any difficulties meeting the timeframes outlined above

BYOLifter: If you’re collecting large items on a Saturday (our busiest day of the week), please bring an extra lifter (or two) with you, to avoid having to wait until a staff member becomes available to help, thanks!

Arranging your own shipping

Do you live out of town and need to arrange your own carrier to relocate your purchases? We recommend using a furniture carrier for the more fragile items especially if there is glass in the item.

Important notes on arranging your own transport

  • You must arrange for your item to be picked up within 1 week of purchase.
  • Please ensure your chosen carrier knows what he/she is picking up and for whom. It is advisable they come prepared with the following information:
    • Your first and last name
    • The exact product you purchased
    • Order number if you have purchased the item online
    • Your delivery address
    • Your phone number

Price for delivery

Get in touch to discuss our Price for delivery service. The following applies:

  • Available to your gate to Christchurch addresses only – within 30kms of our Wigram site
  • You have provided us with full disclosure of the accessibility of the delivery address, as we have long trailers to contend with.
  • If the team show up to deliver the item and are unable to deliver it due to restrictions or it takes longer then expected then an additional shipping fee will apply.
  • Delivery date will be discussed at time of purchase and full payment needs to be received before the item is delivered.
  • Unfortunately we are unable to delivery some products, i.e cobbles, pavers , timber or iron.
