One of our customers, Marcus Allen, recently began renovating his new-old home and found a replacement front door at Musgroves that perfectly matches the style of its era. Questions around exactly how old the house was were answered when he stripped a wall back to the sarking and found a pencil inscription that read ‘Alfred Allen June 4th 1903, building contractor’. Marcus later found out, by going back through his family tree, that he was related to Alfred – building really is in the DNA!
