Stunning Entranceway Table

Kurt purchased an old Oregon beam from Musgroves to make some entrance way tables.

He cut the beam into 3 pieces, each of which were sent for sand blasting. The table featured in images below was oiled with linseed oil over the course of a week, then coated in a gloss polyurethane coating.

This gloss polyurethane turned out to be so glossy that when looking straight at it you couldn’t see the wood, so he did a light sand and recoated in a satin polyurethane.

The table was finished with a custom-fabricated steel base for the top to sit on. What an amazing result, thanks for sharing Kurt!
