Refurbished Homestead

We were delighted to receive a photograph of Viv’s beautiful refurbished North Island homestead. Viv found the slate tiles needed for roof repairs at our yard, tiles that came off the roof of Dorothy’s Restaurant following the 2011 earthquake. Dorothy’s was a lovely Edwardian building that was sadly a total loss, so it’s wonderful to see its materials continue to serve an important purpose through recycling projects such as these.

If you enjoyed this project, please share it on your socials, thanks!
