Neil’s Man Cave

Neil has been waiting 44 years to build his dream man cave! Whilst residing in his earthquake-modified house, he found time to engage in hobby furniture-making, however, it became too much of a chore to move the car in and out of the garage to use the machines. Now he has a convenient space for all his machines and can work on his own DIY projects as well as help the neighbours!

Neil has been a customer of Musgroves for the past 30+ years and so it was only natural that he would go to Musgroves to buy some of the materials he needed. Neil claims that the staff at Musgroves are extremely helpful, he explained what he wanted, including the rough sizes for the windows and double door and they knew exactly what would be suitable and even provided a couple of choices.

The man cave is fully insulated, lined, architect designed and consented so that at some future time it can be an artist’s studio, a real estate office, a potters studio, or an authors thinking space … It has a swing-down power supply to the centre of the workspace so no one can trip over cords and the machines are all on castors so that they can easily be stored against the walls when not in use, leaving the centre space for work.

Here is Neil’s impressive high-end hideout, where the windows and doors were supplied by Musgroves.

Also, notice the hive in the picture? Neil is also a hobby beekeeper, and stores all of his equipment for this hobby in the man cave too.
